While going through the November issue of Cosmo I got at the airport, I found a section called Sex Q&A. One of the questions readers asked was "I want to experiment with food in bed. Whats okay to try, and what's a bad idea?" The reason I wanted to put this up in the blog is because clearly food and sex is something everyone is thinking about. Although the answer was a little too graphic and inappropriate, women who read this magazine are interested with feeding their sexual desire and stomach.
Remember guys, sugary things can cause yeast infections :-O
Well think about the fact that there are flavored condoms for "Safe" and tasty oral sex or that there are lots of lubricants nowadays that are flavored and safe to ingest.....
Oh and I just remembered, there is the saying "wine and dine" which usually means a man showed his lady a good time with nice food and drink so she should sleep with him as well as the idea that penis is often refered to as "meat" or "sausage"
Interesting...so, could we think of the new (not so new, but humor me) interest in vampirism and/or vampires as just another way to combine food (blood, in this case) and sex? Would the word desire explain the relationship? I guess this is just another way to wine and dine?
Vampirism ties into this class too!?! I guess I didn't realize just how universal this theme is. I do think that it again is making the female form a representative of food and sex, in a much darker way then then the images of the Virgin Mary.
